History ! The Fondation Cartier invited him to present seven images on the façade of Jean Nouvel's building for the exhibition 1 monde réel – Beaurin / Domercq (1999), and to participate in Yanomami, l'esprit de la forêt (2003) and Mémoires Vives (2014). In 2002, with the exhibition Fragilisme and his dialogue with Italian designer and architect Alessandro Mendini, Vincent Beaurin explored the boundaries between art and design in an institutional setting. Fragilisme refers to an aesthetic project based on the fragile and transitory nature of all things. Blurring the lines of what one might be tempted to define, the artists initiate relationships between scales and spaces in an explosion of colors and materials.
An artwork from the Fondation Cartier collection will be presented for the inaugural exhibition of the new building at 2 Place du Palais-Royal, Paris:
General Exhibition from October 25, 2025, to August 23, 2026.
