Context! The Cartier Foundation invited Vincent Beaurin to present seven images on the façade of Jean Nouvel’s building for the exhibition 1 monde réel ? Beaurin / Domercq (1999), and to participate in Yanomami, l’esprit de la forêt(2003) and Mémoires Vives (2014). It was in 2002, with the exhibition Fragilisme and his dialogue with the Italian designer and architect Alessandro Mendini, that Vincent Beaurin began exploring the relationships between the visual language of art and that of functional objects within an institutional context. Fragilisme refers to an aesthetic project based on the fragile and transitory nature of all things.
The artwork Sans Titre 2001 - twentyy-one elements, plaster, and mixed media - by Vincent Beaurin, from the Cartier Foundation’s collection will be presented as part of the inaugural exhibition at the new building located at 2 Place du Palais-Royal, Paris.
General Exhibition from October 25, 2025, to August 23, 2026.
